What Liquid Bible is all about

Liquid Bible is (currently) a one person project, that came about out of a desire to offer advanced Bible study tools to everyone in a modern convenient package, without expensive fees or licenses.

Many of the sources of the Bible that are available online tend to be either slow, horribly designed, or packaged within an existing website, which can be distracting and leave little room on the screen for convenient reading. The goal with Liquid Bible is to create a fast webapp with little distractions.

What Liquid Bible Won't Do.

Liquid Bible won't allow you to study the Word without putting in any effort. What you learn from Scripture, like many things in life, is directly proportionate to how much effort you put into it. My goal with Liquid Bible is to provide easy access, and make your study time more efficient. But a Bible scholar you will not be, without spending the time, making a serious effort, taking notes, and most importantly, putting what you learn into action.

Versions
NRSV and RSV versions are controlled by the National Council of Churches, who state on their site that permission will not be granted for use of the NRSV or RSV online. So much for being the "Bible for everyone"!
